First Smile
As soon as your little one smiles at you for the first time, all the sleepless nights and exhaustion seem to fade away.
There’s nothing sweeter, warmer, or more heart-melting than seeing your baby’s
face light up with joy.
That first smile is also a beautiful sign of your baby’s growing social awareness.
In fact, babies start smiling very early — even while still in the womb.
You may have heard friends or relatives say that a newborn’s smile isn’t a “real”
smile.
And they’re partly right — those early smiles are reflexive and different from the social smiles that come later.
Your baby’s first true smile will likely appear around 6 to 8 weeks of age — a magical moment that often happens in response to something truly special… like recognizing you.
